Hi, I’m Anindya

I’m a Machine Learning Platform engineer at Zoox, where I architect and build foundational ML infrastructure systems that power large-scale autonomous vehicle development.

I’m based in the San Francisco Bay Area and have spent my career at the intersection of software engineering and machine learning — building platforms, data pipelines, and systems that help ML teams move faster.

Background

Before Zoox, I worked across several technology organizations in roles spanning ML engineering, data engineering, and software development. My experience includes building distributed systems, large-scale data pipelines with Spark and Hive, and production ML workflows.

I hold a degree from Texas A&M University (GPA 3.8/4.0), where I studied algorithms, artificial intelligence, machine learning, NLP, and data mining.

What I Write About

This blog is where I explore topics I find interesting:

  • Deep Learning — internals of frameworks like PyTorch, training mechanics, and model optimization
  • ML Systems — infrastructure, platforms, and tooling for production machine learning
  • Data Engineering — distributed processing, pipelines, and storage at scale
  • Software Engineering — design patterns, systems thinking, and building reliable software
